Big hART received the Organisation Award for the 2016 Tasmanian Human Rights Awards, and Project O received a commendation for its partnership with Wynyard High School.
Some of our Project O/ 20+20 participants went to Government House in Hobart to accept the awards and to meet with Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, AM, Governor of Tasmania.
Some of us also went along to the ceremony put on just for people on the north west coast.
“It feels really good that we have been noticed for all of our hard work and that people are noticing that we are making a change in the community.”
